About the Event
Are you a EdTech startup (with at least one female co-founder) looking for collaboration, networking and investment? Or an investor interested in this industry? Or someone simply interested in entrepreneurship?
In these challenging times, everyone needs a distraction, and Startup Club remains committed to supporting entrepreneurs on their startup journey. This year, the Startup Club has worked hard to bring together presenters, academics and startups to work on cutting edge ideas at different stages of development and serving various business niches. We continue to organise events for entrepreneurs and others. Due to the virus situation, all our events currently take place online.
In April, Startup Berlin Club organised a successful “Future of EdTech - Online Pitch Night”. The event featured four startups, five EdTech advisors (consultants, serial entrepreneurs, and investors), and 20+ general attendees interested in investing and startups. The event brought widespread exposure to those involved, including the post-event LinkedIn post attracting 5000+ views and 50+ interactions. Please see Q&A highlights from one advisor from the previous event here.
This month, the Startup Berlin Club brings “Women in EdTech - Online Pitch Night” that matches women-led EdTech startups to industry-specific advisors and investors while providing opportunities for the general participants to interact.
The recent increase in demand for digital education is unprecedented and various Women in Tech have responded to this with innovative and impacting solutions. Given the increased need, familiarity and appetite for digital and remote learning, the EdTech sector is attractive to investors during the current situation and beyond.
If you are an EdTech startup (with at least one female co-founder) that delivers unique educational impact and/or has an innovative and costed business plan, then please email us via firstname.lastname@example.org with one paragraph explaining your business and your reasons to pitch.
We wish to give you the chance to present your business so we can help you speed up changing the world of education!
Our events bring together some of the leading entrepreneurs and established industry leaders from around the world thus creating an invaluable investor pitching, networking and mentoring experience. The events only last a few hours, but lessons learned have a lasting effect on all event participants.
